New Zealand Digital Workplace Conference

Posted on 8 July 2016

The 8th New Zealand Digital Workplace Conference will be held at the Langham Hotel in Auckland on the 9th and 10th of August 2016. This conference is New Zealand’s largest conference dedicated to SharePoint and Office 365. Many well known local and international SharePoint and Office 365 experts will present a wide range of sessions over the two days, in four streams – Business Productivity, Customer Case Studies, Technical Rockstars and Thought Leadership.

This year we will be presenting Puna korero (spring of conversations) with Environment Canterbury. This project show-cases the capabilities of SharePoint 2013 and HP Records Manager and we’ll share a few of the lessons learnt and successes celebrated.

You don’t need to be the technical type to get a lot from this conference, many of the sessions are oriented towards power users, decision makers, business analysts and project managers. If your work involves collaborating with others, then you will undoubtedly find something in the agenda that will help you work better!

Our top five agenda items (in no particular order):

  1. Susan Hanley - We Built it, but Why Won’t They Come?
  2. Chris Johnson - Integrating with the Microsoft Graph: Beginner session
  3. Michael Sampson - Taking a Strategic Approach to the Use of Office 365
  4. Dorje McKinnon - Digital Workplace Success Metrics: Choosing the Right Analytics Tool
  5. Debbie Ireland - Experience Full Immersion into the O365 Toolset

We also recommend seeing as many of the Customer Case Studies as you can. These sessions are jointly presented by a vendors and customers and are great place to learn how others have approached the digital workplace projects.

So why should you attend? This is the only conference in New Zealand dedicated to SharePoint and Office 365. You won’t find a better place to learn, network and share ideas with others with a common interest in digital workplaces.
